This is a great FREE self-paced training course for anyone who works with or is interested in working with vulnerable youth.  The course runs from September 11th to November 20th, and participants can enroll from now until November 13th to work through the course material. With that being said, the sooner you enroll, the more time you will have to work through the material.

We only have 1 spot left for the STEM Summer Camp! GO! (Girls Only) STEM Summer Camp is a four day camp-like experience that enables 13 to 17 years old girls with the opportunity to explore technology in a new and exciting way. The camp will take place at the Salesforce downtown office in Toronto conveniently located close to Union subway station.

The Game Changers Program at St. Stephen's Community House is offering a Youth Facilitator Training open to youth aged 18-25 years old. Youth who participate in the training will be certified in mediation skills and be added to our youth mediator roster. In addition to this, participants will receive a train-the-trainer’s component and become certified facilitators for the Game Changers program. Certified facilitators will be called to co-facilitate mediation skills training in middle schools and high-schools located downtown or in the Jane-Finch community.

Art Movie Camp for the second time. Last year we had 07 teens and youth participating and creating their own movie, the project was a safe space for them to be creative and explore different subjects. The Cooking & Wellness for Independence (summer) program is an intensive four day educational training program for youth between 15 and 26 years of age. This program is specifically for youth who are interested in developing culinary skills, improving their physical, mental and emotional health.  In a structured learning environment youth will participate in a variety of activities which hope to promote independence and wellbeing.
